On Wednesday, March 5th, 2008 at 3:09 AM, the Smith Township Fire Department responded to the report of a fire coming from the roof of a residential structure at 426 North Line Street, in Churubusco.

Injured Firefighter Out of Hospital

We are pleased to report that captain, Chris Tomlinson, is safely at home from the injuries he sustained in a house fire Tuesday evening.

Tomlinson suffered a spinal injury after he was struck by falling debris and was taken to Parkview Memorial hospital in serious condition. Read more...
